Meet Marcie Tinsley

Marcie has lived in Palm Beach County for most of her life and has been a resident of Palm Beach Gardens since 2003, living in the Evergrene community.Marcie has spent most of her professional career working as a land planner, landscape designer and project manager for a Palm Beach County land planning and landscape architecture firm. For the last 17 years she has served as the Vice President of Karl Corporation, a land management company. Her responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer include the management of a large portfolio of commercial, residential and agricultural properties.

As a strong believer in serving her community, Marcie currently serves as an active member of the Evergrene Property Owner Master Association Board and as liaison to the Architectural Review Committee. She is also a member of the North County Economic Development Advisory Board and The Palm Beach North Athletic Foundation Advisory Board as well as past member of the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, Palm Beach County Transportation Planning Agency, League of Cities, and many other various boards and committees.

Throughout her career Marcie has collaborated with local municipalities and cities to build stronger neighborhoods with the goal of using land in practical, economic, and ecological manners. As a former member of the City Council, Marcie’s efforts earned her the support of her colleagues to allow her to become the second female Mayor in the history of Palm Beach Gardens. She is credited with notable accomplishments while in the position including fiscal responsibility, her attention to details and her focus and love for the environment resulting in the preservation of much of the green space residents enjoy today.

Marcie attributes her love of community and mankind to her supportive parents who taught her the importance of giving, sharing, and appreciating all of life’s joys. Marcie and her husband Brian are proud parents and grandparents! In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, traveling with her family, and hiking. Experience Matters! As a new “empty nester” and with your support, Marcie Tinsley is ready, able and eager to devote time towards serving her community once again!
